Lifts

Wheelchair Lifts: These are covered by a variety of lifts. Under the umbrella of platform lifts are disabled lifts and scissor lifts, both permanent and temporary structures.

Side Hung Lifts: These are streamlined vertical platform lifts that are installed at a 90 degree angle so that the side of the lift cab is attached to the track, as opposed to the back of it. This format is suited wherever the normal position of the lift would cause an obstruction to a doorway or window.

Step Lifts: These are used where wheelchair users are likely to encounter barriers in the form of one or two steps. A step lift can be placed next to the steps or in a position where the wheelchair user will rise up and over them. Step lifts are also suitable for front and back doors of a residence, as well as public buildings, and can give access to pedestrians.

Ceiling Hoists: These motorised lifts are a boon to immobile individuals and also their carers. A fitted ceiling track, to which a body sling is attached, lifts the person out of their bed or chair. The days of carers straining and injuring their backs while lifting their charges are long gone with the help of these hoists.

Through Floor Lifts: This is simply a Vertical Platform Lift positioned in a way to take the user up and down through floors. They are ideal for providing the individual with easy access to their bedroom.
